Interconnected: Bringing Multiple Stakeholders Together to Improve Building Design & Operations

This On Demand CEU is a recorded presentation from a previous live event.

Project teams bring various stakeholders together for building projects, but never has it been more vital to have multiple stakeholders sit together than in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Design touches every aspect of the lives of people occupying a space, so cross-disciplinary teams must work together to ensure buildings and designed, constructed and operated in ways that support human health—from urban planners, building owners, architects, engineers, facility managers, interior designers and human resources.

This webinar will bring a variety of building professionals together to discuss the importance of multidisciplinary teams in planning, designing, constructing and operating buildings in the future that support occupant wellbeing.

Learning Objectives:

  • Consider big-picture thinking and the importance of bringing multiple stakeholders together to design, construct and operate buildings following the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Identify the different roles and disciplines that should be on a project team and how they can plan and execute mutually agreed-upon goals that ensure project success
  • Explain how a broad-based approach to building design can help support occupant wellbeing.
  • Describe how input and data collected from multiple sources can help inform the way buildings are designed and constructed.
